Wow that,s so lovely to read!
Thank you both for sharing your feelings,
Eric truly is a musician with a difference.
I felt the same way when I met Eric, he is a master of his art and an insperation.
What ever your passion in life, if you can make a living from it, working becomes a pleasure.
Imagine is a pleasure to us all,
I can never put in to words the feeling I get and the happiness Imagine brings, people really do need to feel it for themselves.
Hope to see you next time you are in Fuerteventura.

Dear Gell n Eric
Just a short note to tell you what i think of Imagine bar!
We walked in on a sunny febuary evening this year and were initially a bit dubious ( what with the stairs and the fact that the place was empty!) we sat down and were immediately asked what we wanted to drink (a rarity anywhere!)
Shortly after, a few more people had sat down and an instantly noticable fellow entered the stage!
Within a short time we were aware that this was no ordinary musician, wow what a talent, playing stuff i love like 5 years by Bowie and Copperhead road by Steve Earle!
We went to the bar every night, and every night we were entertained beyond all expectations! The guest musicians were also superb, but Eric really is a legend,
We will be back soon for more of the same, i can honestly say that Imagine is the most fantastic bar i have ever been in!

If like me you are missing IMAGINE, have a look on youtube Eric has a fab collection of songs with lots of hits.
I just put in eric imagine and found some wonderful clips that made me feel at home

This is seems to have got out of hand a bit!
I met a chap on the beach etc etc.
I mentioned Imagine and the wonderful times I have had there just talkin in general He said "ave i herd Chris play"
He said " I have known Chris for some time he is very good company.
He asked me if you were Gay.
I replied I have no idea.
Sorry its not anymore exciting then that!
Hope its put to bed now.
You don't look gay to me.

Righty ho Chris here, To clear up the geographical jiggery pokery Middlesbrough (my birthplace) was in Yorkshire when I was born as so perceptively observed by Dave. It then became part of Teesside and then Cleveland and now (following the disappearance of both) seems to be err... just Middlesbrough.
I'm still successfully fighting off my perceived sexual ambiguity (where DID it come from Caroline?). Last week before Eric's holidays, it's quiet but we're doing better than a lot of other bars, thanks in no small part to you lot. So thanks... Hope to see you soon. |

Ah, but if he is from the south bank of the Tees, such as Middlesborough, this used to be part of the North Riding of Yorkshire, so all would be well.
